We are currently working with a world leader in organising trade exhibitions and business functions. Our client organises and executes a range of different events, from small niche products conferences to large global trade exhibitions. As a New Business Sales Executive, this role will see you converting self-generated leads, through various channels, into sold revenue by helping customers understand how exhibiting with the company can help them reach their strategic objectives and commercial goals. You will also maximise revenue by upselling customers on their stand sizes, at the events, wherever possible and attend events to support the re-booking process and/ or hold pre-arranged meetings with potential customers. This role will combine two events and would actively work as a hybrid sale executive between both events.
*Must have 3+ years proven experience as a new business focussed sales person
*Experience with cold calling with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
*Background in the events industry or retail industry is an advantage but not essential
