Job Description

Our client are a leading provider of custom software development services for venture capital-backed start-ups, and they are looking for their first sales person to be based here in the UK. With offices in the US and Europe they have in excess of 200 clients worldwide, and 15 in the UK. With a team of more than 1700 developers, they are well set to provide exceptional bespoke services to aspiring start-ups with that elusive VC funding.

As the New Business Development Manager, you will be tasked with all elements to do with the sales cycle. From generating leads, consultatively selling their services, closing the deals, and then looking at renewals/extensions of the contracts, you will be working towards a first year target of £750K. Deal sizes can range from £50K up to £1M, so there is every chance over achieve this target. In addition, you will take over the existing pipeline currently managed by the senior management team.

Key requirements for this role are:
*3+ years' new business focused sales experience
*Ideal experience will be in Software Development or selling a type of Service to businesses
*A genuine passion for Technology development/software development is crucial
*Comfortable in an autonomous working environment
