A well-established Managed Cloud Services provider is looking to make a key expansion in their London team. They are currently looking for a Player-Manager to both sell and manage. The company, partnered with both Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services, provide a sophisticated, high-end technology, combined with a bespoke, tailored solution, as well as highly skilled engineers. With regular year-on-year growth of 30%, they are have significant plans to continue expanding and this is a key hire for them.
As a Player-Manager, your responsibilities will focus on 2 key areas. You will be responsible for working alongside the existing new business sales team to win new business. Signing off deals ranging from £10-50K, you will work towards an initial new business target or circa £250K. In addition, you will immediately be looking to recruit and hire your own inside sales team, which you will manage. Your team will be made up of lead generators who pass leads to yourself as well as the other members of the existing 360 sales team. You will use your experience in Cloud Hosting space to good effect.
*New Business Sales experience in Hosting/Infrastructure is a must
*Management experience is ideal, but mentoring experience will also be considered
*Consistent record of over achievement against target
*Experience of AWS or Microsoft Azure would be a big plus
