Job Description

The Company:

My client are an International retailer specialising in fitness equipment and accessories. They offer a wide range of products such as exercise machines, weights, gym accessories, and other fitness-related items.
  
The Role:
Focusing primarily on employee relations and recruitment, this role ensures a seamless end-to-end employee journey. Acting as the first point of contact for both employees and managers, this role supports the delivery of top-tier HR services.

Liaise with colleagues across all departments to ensure the entire employee journey is managed effectively, providing support and guidance on all HR matters. Collaborate with German colleagues to share best practices and maintain consistency. Work with external recruitment partners to hire top talent and consult with employment law experts to ensure they remains compliant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Update and maintain their administration system, People HR.
  • Collaborate with employment law experts to provide guidance, support, and advice to managers on employee relations, including preparing relevant documentation and taking minutes.
  • Assist managers with the recruitment process, from advertising to preparing contracts and onboarding documentation.
  • Ensure payroll is updated monthly with new joiners, leavers, and changes.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance with policies and processes in line with legislative and business needs and developments.
  • Partner with line managers to manage the entire employment lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Ensure annual training activities, such as GDPR and Health & Safety training, are completed and documented as required.
  • Participate in general HR projects and activities, such as annual salary reviews and long service provision.
  • Engage in continuous personal and professional development and implement relevant changes within the HR function.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience in a standalone HR position is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of onboarding, recruitment processes, and employee relations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Highly organized with strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • CIPD level 3/5 or other relevant HR qualifications.
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages and cloud-based people administration systems.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
