The Company:
We are currently working with a new, exciting agency, boasting an exceptionally high-quality marketing team, that are looknig for an exceptional Head of New Business to lead and drive their Business Development team in London. With backing from one of the most successful privately-owned investment firms in London, they are serious about growing rapidly and internationally. Specialising in PPC, Paid Social, and SEO, they run campaigns through some high-level technology platforms, and have a superb data science team working hard in the background to ensure outstanding delivery.

The Role:
As Head of New Business your role will be that of a Player-Manager. On one hand it will be your task to be proactive in winning new customers, working towards a consistent target of 5 new clients per month after ramp. On the other hand you will be tasked with the strategy of the Business Development team, when to hire, who to hire, who to sell to, etc. The right candidate for this role will ideally have a background in a Digital Agency, but most importantly, be a hands-on, hungry, new business focused sales person who posesses the commercial astuteness to build and execute a strategy to launch this agency to the next level.

Key Requirements:
*8 years' B2B new business sales experience with evidence of a strong sales record.
*At least 4 years' experience in managing, training and motivating a sales team.
*Good excel skills along with a natural ability with numbers, you'll need to be responsible for the financial efficiency of the sales function.
*Proficiency with Salesforce, you must be organised with good project management skills.
*Impeccable communication skills, ability to present to key decision makers.
*Hardworking, energetic and enthusiastic approach to sales.
*Driven, self-starter with a hunger to succeed and win.
*A background in SaaS or working for a Marketing Agency would be preferred
