The Company
The company is a key player in delivering 'last-mile' delivery services on a B2B level, selling a new SaaS platform to those with a fleet of delivery vehicles. This new technology will replace manual working or legacy systems allowing the user to improve efficiency through the use of live tracking, dictating schedules etc. With $5M in funding over recent time, this exciting company are looking for a Business Development Manager to become a key part of this small but growing company.

The Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities in businesses from SME level to Enterprise, as well as building long-term relationships with new and existing customers. You will arrange meetings with potential clients, identify client needs and provide them with appropriate suggestions on products/services.
Initially you shall be signing deals that range from £15k-£120k per year on monthly subscriptions, with sales cycles varying from 2-9 months. You will be expected to sign multiple deals per month to reach your targets. An ideal candidate will have experience in selling or dealing in supply chain, logistics or retail, although other types of SaaS are acceptable. Working as part of a small team, an ideal candidate will be highly independent and self-motivated, as well as being prepared to generate their own leads. Experience in negotiating SaaS deals will also aid success in this role.

Key Requirements
*Minimum of 2 years of SaaS sales experience or equivalent
*A history of over-achieving sales quotas
*Experience working with Salesforce or a similar CRM
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Strong listening, presentation and negotiation skills
*Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively
*BA/BS degree of equivalent
