A well-established Managed Cloud Services provider is looking to make a key expansion in their London team. They are currently looking for a Business Development Manager who will largely focus on winning new business, but will look to grow some existing accounts as well. The company, partnered with Amazon Web Services, provide managed cloud hosting services that are personalised to their customers' needs. With regular year-on-year growth of 30%, they are have significant plans to continue expanding and this is a key hire for them.
As Business Development Manager you will be tasked with running the entire sales cycle from start to finish, aiming towards a pure new business target of circa £700K per year. You will also be given a small portfolio of accounts to manage and grow, but your main focus will be on generating new business. You will have internal support with lead generation, but you must be comfortable being proactive in generating your own leads. Experience selling Cloud or Infrastructure would be hugely beneficial to you being the best candidate for this role. You will be the first person working in a pure new business capacity within the business.
*3 + years' experience new business led sales experience
*An understanding of the MSP, Hosting and/or cloud technology industries would be a huge advantage but not a requirement
*Motivated and dynamic with a 'can do' attitude
*Consistent record of over achievement against target
*A desire to work in a role where progression can be quickly and realistically achieved

On offer is a base salary ranging from £35-45K with a Double OTE that is uncapped with accelerators.
