Job Description

My client is a leading open source API platform, enabling worldwide developers and business users to build, manage and monitor their APIs.
They are currently recruiting for an Account Executive France to join this growing business. In this newly created role, you will help grow the French region. Ideally they need a track record of proven success with 3+ years of software/platform sales focused on AP.

You will need to be able to speak French to at least a professional business level.
The Role
  • Creating & executing a territory plan to build out the region by adding new customers to the platform, as well expanding the footprint within existing customers
  • Presenting and articulating the business & technology value and differences that the platform will provide to prospective customers
  • Managing end-to-end relationships with customers & partners, from first contact, through to POC, presentation and commercial negotiation
  • Becoming a trusted extension to the customers team, to identify where our client will play a pivotal role in enabling their technology & business strategies and drive customer references/satisfaction
  • Working & communicating closely with internal teams; Product, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering & Operations to build out solutions & propositions for new & existing customers, as well as feedback where improvements & enhancements can be made
  • Providing timely and accurate forecasting, reporting and general admin internally
The right candidate will possess at least the following skills, if not more:
  • A passion to deliver the best experience possible to the customer, both pre-sale & post sale
  • Experience in working in a fast paced start-up environment, where change and customer experience is the only constant
  • Self-motivation and the ability to adapt quickly when required
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, in English, across a range of internal & external stakeholders; from Developers, Engineers through to C-level contacts
  • Proven track record working in a start-up environment executing against new logo quotas
  • Experience in customer-facing sales roles
  • A desire to succeed, both personally and as part of a team
  • Passionate and truly motivated about everything in life, not just work
  • Someone with a sense of urgency and follow-through
  • A person who excels working in a fast-paced, agile startup environment
  • Naturally customer-focused and has a customer-first mentality
