As Sales Director – Travel Payments, you will take a leadership role in driving revenue growth within the travel sector. You will be responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities, nurturing key client relationships, and expanding the company’s footprint in the industry in UK & across Europe.

The Role:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on acquiring and expanding clients in the travel sector, including airlines, OTAs, and hospitality brands.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within travel businesses.
  • Drive revenue growth through proactive lead generation, consultative selling, and negotiation of commercial agreements.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to deliver value-driven solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving payment technologies to inform sales strategy.
  • Own and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, ensuring an efficient and structured approach.

Key Requirements:

  • 10+ years of sales experience, with a strong track record in SaaS, FinTech, or Travel Payments.
  • Proven success in acquiring and developing key accounts, with a results-driven approach to sales execution.
  • Deep understanding of embedded payments, financial technology, and payment challenges faced by the travel industry.
  • Experience working with airlines, OTAs, hotel groups, and travel service providers is highly desirable.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, driving measurable outcomes and exceeding sales targets.
