Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the founding team and global freight forwarders to co-create and refine the platform.
  • Work closely with AI engineers to deploy the latest AI technologies safely and at scale, focusing on data capture and utilization.
  • Engage directly with freight operators to understand their workflows and develop interfaces they can trust, enabling them to enhance their efficiency through AI.
  • Evaluate and pragmatically test technical solutions, discussing trade-offs and influencing the company’s technical direction.
  • Take on increasing responsibility and ownership of projects, with opportunities for leadership development.

  
Qualifications:
2 to 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a track record of building and maintaining user-driven products.
  
Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js, and other web technologies, along with experience in back-end languages such as Python or Go.
  • Experience with deploying production applications on major public clouds (GCP, AWS, Azure) using containers and serverless functions.
  • Strong experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
  • An interest in AI/ML technologies, though direct experience is not required.
  • Adaptability to new challenges and technologies, with a focus on curiosity and a mission-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
