A reputable provider of Public Relations software solutions are looking for a Business Development Representative to join their rapidly growing London office. With a European presence, and a portfolio including interactive newsrooms, SEO content and PR analytics, this company's mission is to streamline and enhance the newsroom capabilities of companies, agencies and institutions alike.
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle, generating leads and owning the sales process through to close. This will be a client facing role, with pitches made and deals closed face to face. You will be pitching and closing the company's portfolio into PR and Communications Directors, mainly into brands in the Retail, Fashion, Pharmaceutical, Tech, and Professional Services verticals. You will be working towards a yearly revenue target, bringing in a combination of small deals and high value multi-year contract deals.
The successful candidate will have:
- At least 2 years experience of a 360 sales cycle
- A software sales background (PR SaaS is highly beneficial)
- A black book of contacts in a specific vertical (PR clients beneficial)
- The drive to hit and achieve yearly revenue targets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
