We are currently working on a fantastic role with a leading provider of bespoke training courses aimed at the financial sector. Targeting blue chip companies and tailoring in house programmes for their employees is a large part of the service they provide, coupled with periodical open training courses that individual financial experts can come to. They have been recognised for the high quality of their courses and as such are on the rise, looking to expand their excellent team.
As a business development executive you will be focused on driving new business for the company and subsequently closing anything you personally generate. You will focus on building databases of potential clients that each course is suited to. Due to the fast paced nature of the financial services sector it is sometimes difficult to catch key decision makers with enough time to take a phone call and as such the main method of lead generating will be through the use of email marketing campaigns aimed at your database of clients. Once leads are generated you will be following through to the close of the deal, taking advantage of their excellent uncapped commission structure and bonuses.
- An interest in the financial sector would be a huge advantage
- Previous B2B sales experience
- Previous experience closing sales deals
- Excellent communication skills
